Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Port Townsend

Quimper UU has an established Native Connections group that has a website where you can check out what they’re doing and some of the resources that they work with.

One of their most of significant projects was the Cíčməhán/Chetzemoka Interpretive Trail.

Quimper UU Fellowship and Several Members  Recognized For Their role as Indigenous Allies at the Cíčməhán/Chetzemoka interpretive trail dedication Saturday 6/29/19. Reverend Kate Lore, Jo Blair and one other were presented a plaque of appreciation by the S’Klallam Nation before a capacity crowd at Memorial stadium.  Afterwards a magnificent totem pole, prominently placed in front of the NW Marine Center, was also ceremonial celebrated. The Center’s director wept on reflecting on the significance of the days events. For more information on the trail read the Chetzemoka Trail Project file.  (See more information on their website).

Quimper member Barbara “Jo” Blair, Rev. Kate Lore and Maria Mendes receive recognition for their work on the Chetzemoka Interpretative Trail Project
