Reach beyond the mundane
Contribute, today
Now is the time to help us reach beyond the mundane. Our vision to empower people, with a new and more powerful thrust, to build a just world in which all people thrive. By supporting JUUstice Washington right now, you will be helping us to achieve justice goals that, up until now, we could only dream of for the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Your generous financial gift will enable us to accomplish the following actions in 2019:
- Providing opportunities for our UU activists and justice leads to receive training and assistance in developing EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion) plans and practices.
- Coordinating efforts to bring UU voices to the Washington State legislature.
- Further development of issue action teams in six areas of urgent need, including Immigrant, Refugee and Migrant Solidarity, Economic Justice, Criminal Justice Reform, Climate Justice, First/American Indian Nations Solidarity, Racial Justice and foundational work for the development of other teams in other critical issues.
Please contribute, today: In order to expand the programming of JUUstice Washington and make our vision a reality in the world, we need your support! This is a critical time for social and environmental justice work in Washington State and beyond. Now more than ever, we need your participation and your financial support in order to accomplish our goals.
We are asking our members and friends to please give generously, so that we can work with you and other UUs and their partners to help bend the arc of the universe further towards justice in Washington and the Pacific Northwest.

Sincerely,

Louise Lansberry says
I got the name of your group from Rev. Beth Chronister from the Seattle UUC..
My question for her was whether there are any UU groups working on peace issues..
I’m part of a Washington Against Nuclear Weapons coalition that got started by Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility a couple of years ago. The goal is to
rid the world of nuclear weapons. We’re working to do education of our members of Congress as well as groups we’re a part of.
It sounds like Immigration, homelessness and climate change are the major foci of most UU groups. And of course there are a hundred other issues to work on at this point. Could you let me know if there are any peace groups at this point. Thanks
