Tell Your U.S. Senators Time is Running Out! Fund Election Security!

The message below is for Washington State and Oregon UUs.  It is from the UUs for Social Justice, our lobbying group in Washington, D.C.  Lavona is requesting that WA and OR UUs write letters to Sen. Patty Murray (WA) and Sen. Jeff Merkley (OR) that you are asking the Senate to increase funding for 2020 election security.  Talking points and a sample letter are provided here.  Please take a few minutes to use the pdf to draft a letter to Murray or Merkley and ask them to fund the Election Security at 600 million as passed by the House of Representatives.  The Senate is trying to fund it only at 250 million.
